When we first thought of turning a pearl into a Trundle Lock ring, we didn’t think it could happen because it would be impossible to fit the mechanism inside the pearl. But then we realized that if we can cut a pearl in half for our pearl earring Lozenge, then we can put a hole in it and make it into a ring. So we did. Trundle is a 16th century word that means a small wheel or roller, and like all of the Trundle Lock rings, this one opens, allowing it to be worn as Lock, charm holder, or even something we’ve not thought of because you’ll have ideas….The Trundle Lock ring design is exceptionally comfortable to wear because the sides of the ring are flat, like one’s actual finger.
